Lucht, Lena (12 July 1904-9 December 1988)

SPENCER-- Lena Lucht, 84, Spencer, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Burial will be in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph R. Kraly will officiate.

Pallbearers will be her six grandsons, David, Charles, Larry, Michael, Mark, Steve and Vaughn Lucht. Visitation will be at the Rinka Funeral Home.

Lena Sorenson was born July 12, 1904, in the town of Spencer, to Andrew and Marie Sorenson. She married Arthur Lucht on November 10, 1924, at Unity.

She was a 1924 graduate of Spencer High School and farmed with her husband in the town of Sherman. In 1951, the couple started a mink farm business which they ran until retiring in 1963. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gerald and Eugene, both of Spencer; a sister, Mrs. Ernestine Haselow of Spencer; six grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, John, Albert and Arthur, and two sisters, Alice and Christine.
