Bollom, Mr./Mrs. Ellsworth (40th - 11 April 1976)

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Bollom of Neillsville honored their parents with a 40th wedding anniversary open house Sunday afternoon, April 11, at the Wildcat Inn.

Friends and relatives present for the event included Mrs. Bollom’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Scinto of Mountain Iron, Mn., and her sister, Mrs. Jane Felix of Fergus Falls, Mn., and Mr. Bollom’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fradette of Eau Claire and his brother, Gareth Bollom and son, Michael of Neillsville.

A special 40th anniversary cake was created by Carol Mortenson.

Ellsworth Bollom and the former Rose Scinto were married April 11, 1936, in Virginia, Mn. The couple met when she came to Neillsville after graduating from nurse’s training. Since their marriage, they have lived in Neillsville where she is employed as a nurse at the Neillsville Clinic and he operated the family grocery and meat market.

The Bolloms are parents of three daughters, Mrs. John (Patricia) Bradshaw of Rt. 1 Willard, Mrs. Donald (Barbara) Erdmann of Milwaukee and Mrs. Larry (Jo Ann) Wren of Eau Claire. They have three grandchildren.
