Monnier, Geraldine (8 March 1923-19 February 1981)

GREENWOOD-- Mrs. Geraldine Monnier, 57, Chicago, formerly of Greenwood, died Thursday morning at a Chicago hospital. She had been in ill health three years.

The former Geraldine Dow was born March 8, 1823 in Chili to Irving and Eldora Dow. She attended schools in the towns of Warner and Mead. She then worked in Chicago where she married Kenneth Monnier.

Surviving are three sons. William of Wheeling, Illinois, Steven of Chicago, and Douglas at home; one granddaughter; one brother, Robert Dow of Chicago; and one sister, Joyce Perelka of Chicago.

The funeral was Saturday in Wheeling, Illinois, with interment in Wheeling Cemetery.
