Stoflet, Jean E. (Marriage – 22 May 1976)

Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Marshfield, was the setting for the May 22 wedding of Miss Jean E. Stoflet and Louis J. Rosandich. The Rev. Lawrence B. Berger, pastor of St. Stephen’s Church, Chili, officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception, dinner and dance at the Knights of Columbus clubhouse in Marshfield followed.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald H. Stoflet, Rt. 2 Marshfield. She was presented in marriage by her father. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rosandich, Rt. 2 Granton, are the groom’s parents.

A bouquet of pint roses, white gardenias and baby’s breath with pink rosebud streamers complimented the bride’s empire-waist gown of angelskin peau. Fashioning details included a high neckline and bodice trimmed with Cluny lace, long, full sleeves an A-line skirt featuring a double-flounce hemline and chapel train. Her Camelot headpiece held a lace-edged fingertip veil.

Mrs. Dennis Bargander was the honor attendant, and Miss Ann Stoflet, Miss Jane O’Reilly and Mrs. Brian Winkel were bridesmaids. All are of Marshfield. Their sheer lace-trimmed pastel gowns in shades of blue, yellow, green, and pink, respectively, were styled with empire waistline and A-line skirts. Picture hats and bouquets of gardenias with lace and ribbon streamers matching their gowns completed the ensembles.

The groom was attended by Joseph P. Rosandich, Granton, as bestman and by Ronald Rosandich, Granton, and James Stoflet and Dennis Bargander, both of Marshfield, as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Eli Rosandich, Wisconsin Rapids, and Dave Stoflet, Mar4shfield. Servers were Mark Stoflet, Marshfield and Brian Cepress, Vesper.

Dave Stoflet, Marshfield, was the guitarist and Dennis Siebenaler, La Crosse, the organist. The vocalist was Mis Alice Golden, La Crosse.

A 1971 graduate of Columbus High School Marshfield, the new Mrs. Rosandich received a bachelor of science degree in nursing at Viterbo College, La Crosse, in 1975. She is employed in the pediatric intensive care unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Her husband graduated from Pittsville High School in 1971 and attended District One Technical Institute-Eau Claire. He is employed as a deputy sheriff with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department.

The newlyweds are living on Rt. 1 Neillsville. They plan a fall wedding trip to the Black Hills and Yellowstone National Park.
