ABBOTSFORD--Mrs. Agnes M. Johnson, 88, died Saturday at Colonial house of COlby.

The funeral will be Wednesday at New Harvest Christian Center, Withee. The Rev. Daniel Venzke, a grandson of Mrs. Johnson, and the Rev. Wilbur Mandigo, a son-in-law of hers, are to officiate. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Friends may call at Maurina Funeral Home here.

The former Agnes Marie Asplundd was born November 19, 1892 in Wilton, North Dakota, and was married there August 2, 1914 to the Rev. Thure Johnson. The couple pastored churches in North Dakota, Wisconsin, California and Arizona. She had been in the Abbotsford/Colby area the past eight years. Her husband died October 4, 1977.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Lillian) Jensen and Mrs. Alvin (Vanie) Venzke, both of Abbotsford, Mrs. Arnold (Florence) Engstrand of Bismark, North Dakota, Mrs. Rueben (Violet) Mantik of Eau Claire and Mrs. Wilbur (Lala) Mandigo of Lakeport, California; two sons, Wesly Johnson of Chula Vista, California, and Phil Johnson of San Gabriel, California; 34 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 20 foster grandchildren.

A son, Thure, and seven brothers are deceased. Grandsons of Mrs. Johnson will be pallbearers.
