Vold, Shirley (Marriage - ? 1976)

In a candlelight service at the Como Community Church, Como, Rodger Williams took as his bride Shirley Vold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dornacher of Burlington. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams, Granton.

The Rev. Wallace Christenson officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony attended by members of the immediate families. A reception was held at the Sterling Worth Motor Lodge.

Attending the couple were the bride’s sister-in-law, Linda Dornacher, and the groom’s brother-in-law, Nathan Vanderberg.

The bride chose a long, lade trimmed gown of cream-colored sheer accented with a corsage of red roses and baby’s breath.

The new Mrs. Williams is employed with the county department of social services in Elkhorn. Her husband is employed as service manager of an Elkhorn motor company. They will live in Williams Bay.
