Brehm, Lena (17 May 1890-17 April 1981)

COLBY --Services for Mrs. Lena Brehm will be Tuesday at Rux/Lulloff Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Strong of United Methodist Church is to officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Brehm, 90, died Friday at Colonial House of Colby Nursing Home.

The former Lena Provinski was born May 17, 1890 in Plymouth, Sheboygan County, to Albert and Minnie Provinski. She was educated at Cherokee School, town of Hull.

On November 15, 1910, she and Edward Brehm were married in Wausau. They farmed in this area until retiring. He died January 8, 1972.

A charter member of Cherokee Homemakers Club, Mrs. Brehm is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Colby and Arthur of Beaver Dam; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Miller of Glendale, California, and Mrs. Edward (Kathleen) Dobner of Milwaukee; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one son are deceased.
