Quast, Ruth Anne (25 March 1911 – 25 June 1976)

Ruth Anne Quast, 65, died in Marshfield, June 25. She had been in Memorial Hospital at Neillsville for 3 weeks.

She was born in Iowa to George and Gertha Currier March 25, 1911. She married Henry Quast, Sr., June 14, 1931, in Iowa.

The couple resided nearly all of their lives in Neillsville, moving to Alma Center, where they operated a restaurant. Her husband died September 14, 1971.

Survivors are Henry Quast, Jr., Milwaukee, Mrs. Ernest (Bertha) Cream, Jr., Oshkosh, Mrs. Roger (Edna) Wagner, Manitowoc; Louis Quast, Alma Center; Mrs. Howard (Betty) Gilles, Taylor, Mrs. Stanley Christopherson, Alma Center; John Quast, Eau Claire: a sister, Leona Timms, Mason City, Ia.; a brother, Donald Currier, Mason City, Ia.; 26 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
