Terry C. Misfeldt, an alumnus of Thorp High School and former reporter for the Thorp Courier, has published his first novel, “Shevivor”. The paperback book is now available through Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/author/terrymisfeldt  or from his website: https//www.terrycmisfeldt.com.

Shevivor is the story of Janet Murphy, an Irish Catholic redhead from Pittsburgh who loves to hunt with her police officer father, two older brothers, and an uncle, a former Navy SEAL. In the wilds of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, she survives getting lost in a snowstorm and being attacked by a deranged friend of her uncle.

Janet becomes successful enough selling advertising to buy her dream hunting lodge in the Montana Rockies. She endures rude treatment from her employer, takes out a school shooter while speaking to her mother's high school class and is wounded. After moving to Montana, she faces the ultimate test: Surviving an attack by a rogue grizzly and a pack of wolves.

Now semi-retired and living in Green Bay, Misfeldt writes and referees high school soccer.

He serves as president of Shawano Area Writers and is a member of the Green Bay Area Writer's Guild. After leaving the Courier, he became editor and publisher of Future magazine for the United States Jaycees in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He owns Brand Irons, a consulting business, and works security for a professional football team.
