Miss Pam Boyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Boyer, Unity, and Norman Miller Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller Sr., Colby, were united in marriage on October 22, during a candlelight services conducted by the Rev. Robert Sutherland at Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity.

The bride’s cousin, Miss Peggy Prien of Loyal, was the maid of honor, and Mike McCarron of Spencer was the best man. The ushers were Leslie Miller an David Zimmerman.

The ivory velvet empire styled dress, made by the bride, had pearl buttons on the bodice front and cuffs. Lace accented the collar and cuffs. She wore a four tiered Juliet styled, shoulder length veil. The bride carried a bouquet of yellow roses and gold mums.

The maid of honor wore a royal blue velvet, empire styled gown with light blue trim on the collar and cuffs. She had yellow rosebuds in her hair. Her bouquet was of yellow and white pompons.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Paulette Reckner, the organist, and a quartet of Mrs. John Brandt, Georgia, Kathy and Brenda Brandt sang “Together” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

A buffet luncheon and reception were held at the Colby Hotel for 150 guests.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Colby High School, and is employed as a secretary at Foremost Foods, Co., Owen.

The groom is a 1971 graduate of Colby High School and is employed at the Packaging Corporation at Colby.

After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Miller Jr. will reside in Colby.
