Johnston, Roland (1881? – 16 SEP 1971)

Mr. Roland Johnston died September 16, 1971 at the age of 90 years at Santa Cruz, California, where he had been living since his retirement.

At the time the Colby State Bank was robbed in 1910, Mr. Johnston was a cashier.

Mr. Johnston late was one of the owners of the Johnston-Pribnow General Merchandise Store. The store was located where the Harmony Co-op building now stands.

His wife, the former Carrie Collier, of Colby, a teacher in the Colby schools, preceded him in death.
