Costa, Bergetta Ann (22 AUG 1971)

Miss Bergetta Ann Costa, former art teacher at Abbotsford schools, and Ross Dean Mason were married by Rev. Ralph Simes in Itasca State Park at Preacher’s Grove on August 22, 1971. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Costa of Northfield, Minnesota, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Mason of William, Minnesota.

The bride wore a long dress with long sleeves of white linen weave, set off by a white daisy chain with orange centers to simulate a vest line. She carried a cascade of orange tea roses with stephanotis.

The maid of honor was Juanita Costa, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids were Karen Costa and Diane Costa, sisters of the bride, and Sandy Swanson, cousin of the groom. Rhonda Turner, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

The best man was Greg Hodgkins. The groomsmen were Kent Mason, brother of the groom, Steven Atwater, cousin of the groom, and Barry Landquist. Jay Nelson, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

The bride’s attendants wore floor length dresses of orange linen weave, fashioned with a long midriff, long sleeves, mandarin collar, over which was a multi-colored floral print midi-length vest. Each carried a single mum.

The groom’s attendants each wore brown flair leg trousers, orange dress shirts, set off by orange metallic ties, with striped vests of orange, brown and yellow.

Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mason are living in Norwood, Minnesota, where Mr. Mason is a junior high school math instructor and coaches intramural athletics.
