Miss Gail Anne Broeske, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Broeske, Route 1, Dorchester, became the bride of Lewis Charles Marcott, son of Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Marcott of Route 1, Abbotsford, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Dorchester, November 12, 1971 at 7:30 p.m.

The bride wore a handmade white gown trimmed with daisy lace. Her shoulder length veil cascaded from her headpiece made of white lace daisies which matched the daisies on her dress. She carried a bouquet of white roses and baby’s breath.

Maid of honor was Susan Broeske, Medford, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Judy Jicinsky, Marshfield, Diane Broeske, Dorchester, sisters of the bride, and Janice Held, Rockford, sister of the groom.

Best man was Alan Marcott, Abbotsford, cousin of the groom. Attendants were Gary Jicinsky, Marshfield, brother-in-law of the bride, Larry Broeske, Dorchester, brother of the bride, and Kevin Marcott, Abbotsford, cousin of the groom.

The bride’s attendants wore purple velvet gowns trimmed with white lace and carried marabou muffs for flowers.

Music during the ceremony was: “Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet” and song sung were “We’ve only Just Begun” and “Everything is Beautiful.”

A reception, dinner, and dance took place at Memorial hall at Dorchester with over 200 guests attending.

The groom attended Abbotsford High School and was a 1970 graduate of Eau Claire Technical Institute, and is presently employed as assistant manager of Hi-Way Auto Sales.

Prior to her marriage, the bride was employed by Liberty Homes, Incorporated, Dorchester.
