Junchen, Norma (9 March 1905 - 28 June 1981)

NEILLSVILLE -- Mrs. Norma Junchen, 76, of 101 Hewett died Sunday at Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be Wednesday at Zion American Lutheran Church, Granton, with the Rev. Paul Forde of Neillsville officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Geache Funeral Home.

Mrs. Junchen was born 9, 1905 at Granton, to Mr. and Mrs. August Schmoll and was educated at Granton schools. She attended teachers college at Algoma and Stevens Point. She taught in several schools in Clark County.

She was married to Harold L. Junchen on June 6, 1942 and they farmed for may years in the town of Washburn. He died February 9, 1973, after which she moved to Neillsville.

She was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church and American Lutheran Church Women.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Elmira Junchen of Neillsville; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Junchen of Sherrard, Illinois; and a nephew, David Junchen of California.
