Beisner, Myrna Kay (4 SEP 1965)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, was the scene of the marriage of Gerald James Bartlett, Oshkosh, and Myrna Kay Beisner on Saturday, September 4, 1965.

The Rev. John Pinion was the celebrant at the 9 a.m. rites.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Mildred Beisner of Colby, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Rose Bartlett of Oshkosh.

Attendants for the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Kallfn, Miss Mary Ellen Beisner and John Barthels, all of Oshkosh.
The bride appeared in a white brocade gown with fitted bodice and contoured midriff. A streamerd bow was fastened at the back waistline. The bell skirt flowed to a chapel train. A bouffant tiered veil was held by an open crown f Alencon lace embroidered with seed pearls and aurora borealis. She carried a cascade bouquet of white gladiolas and greens.

The bridesmaids wore identical Georgette and satin dresses in royal blue. The floor length A-line skirts were of satin with a flowing overskirt of Georgette. Each wore an open crown of embossed flowers with tiered veils. The bridesmaid’s flowers were all white carnations in a loose colonial bouquet.

A reception and dance were held at Oshkosh, where the couple will make their home.

The groom is employed at American Excelsior of Oshkosh, and the bride was also working in that city at Standard Kallsman.
