Erickson, Sandra Jane (Marriage – 21 August 1976)

Marriage vows were repeated Saturday, August 21, at the Neillsville United Church by Miss Sandra Jane Erickson and Timothy Dale Kren. The Rev. Gale Wolf officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier, Rt. 1, Neillsville, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kren, Rt. 3 Neillsville. A reception was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.

The bride, presented in marriage by Mr. Meier, appeared in a gown of organza over taffeta accented with lace and complimented by a matching headpiece. She carried an arrangement of red and white silk roses.

Shari Oldham was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Erickson and Donna Griesbach, Marshfield. Their dotted swiss gowns in shades of green, pink and yellow, respectively, were accented with white lace trim. White hats and bouquets of pink, yellow, white and green silk flowers completed their ensembles.

The groom was attended by John Meihack as best man and by Rick Kuhn and Glen Luchterhand as groomsmen. Serving as ushers were Dennis Erickson, Loyal, and Tom Kren.

Brian Krehmeyer was the ringbearer, and Rebecca Roehl, Chili, flower girl.

Special music included the selection, “We’ve Only Just Begun,” presented by Bunny Hess.

The bride was honored at two prenuptial showers, one given by Mrs. John Meihack and Mrs. Russell Smith, and the other given by Mrs. Gene Roehl, Karen Erickson and Shari Oldham.

Both are graduates of Neillsville High School, the bride is a member of the Class of 1976 and her husband, of the class of 1973. He also studied farm business management at Marshfield and is presently engaged in farming. The couple will live on Rt. 3 Neillsville.
