Gress, Bradley D. (27 December 1956 - 18 August 1981)

NEILLSVILLE -- Bradley D. Gress, 24, of 200 Ferguson St., Neillsville, died Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield following a lingering illness.

Private funeral services will be Friday at Gesche Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary L. Clark, pastor of United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow in Neillsville Cenetery.

He was born December 27, 1956 in Neillsville to Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Charlotte J. Martens) Gress. He was educated here and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1975.

After graduation, he worked as a mechanic in Neillsville and Marshfield, and also as a salesman for his father's business. He was very active in stock car racing in the area.

Mr. Gress was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Bill (Sally) Schmid of Lauderdale Lake, Florida and Mrs. Joe (Becky) Konkel) of Wisconsin Rapids; three brothers, Steve Gress of Vesper, and Monte and Joel Gress, both of Neillsville; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Frieda Martens of Neillsville.
