Pecher, Martha (3 NOV 1965)

Mrs. Martha Pecher and Ervin Jacobi, both of route 1, Abbotsford, repeated their marriage vows on Wednesday, November 3, 1965 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. Raymond B. Schulz officiated at the double ring ceremony at 3 o’clock.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jacobi of route 1, Abbotsford are the parents of the groom, and the bride’s parents are the late Mr. and Mrs. John Felzkowski.

Attending as honor couple were the bride’s son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Pecher of Athens. Completing the wedding party were the groom’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Jacobi, route 1, Abbotsford.

Foer her wedding, the bride was attired in a royal blue knit suit with matching accessories. A corsage of red roses and white mums was pinned at the shoulder.

A beige tweed suit with gold accessories was worn by the matron of honor, and a rose tweed suit with navy accessories was worn by the bridesmaid. Both attendants had corsages of pink carnations.

After the ceremony a reception for relatives was held at the bride’s home, and dinner was served at 5 o’clock.

In the evening, the new Mr. and Mrs. Jacobi received the good wishes of friends at a wedding dance at the Trianon Ballroom.

After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, they will make their home at route 1, Abbotsford. The groom is engaged in farming, and prior to her marriage the bride was employed at the Coffee Shop in Abbotsford.
