Williams, Selma Veronica (30 December 1914 - 29 September 1981)

DORCHESTER -- Services will be Saturday at Maurina Funeral Home for Mrs. Martin E. (Selma V.) Williams, 66, Dorchester. She died Tuesday at Golden Age Nursing Home, Rib Lake.

The Rev. James F. Schaefer, pastor of St. Louis Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

The former Selma Veronica Ludwig was born December 30, 1914 in the town of Little Black. She and Martin E. Williams were married there December 12, 1936. They farmed in the town of Little Black until moving to Dorchester in 1973. Her husband operated a cheese factory there. He died January 6, 1979.

Surviving are three sons, Dale Williams of Dorchester, David Williams of Medford and Darrell Williams, Neenah; three daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Janet) Niemuth, Medford, and Mrs. Ralph (Norma) Kraemer and Mrs. David (Sharon) Kraemer, both of Vulcan, Michigan; 10 brothers and sisters, Mrs. Elsie Maxam of Stetsonville, Lawrence Ludwig and Mrs. Myrtle Federspeil, both of Medford, Mrs. Wilbur (Alice) Klug of Elgin, Illinois, Harry Ludwig of Medford, Elmer Ludwig of Fairhope Alabama, Edwin Ludwig of Medford, Melvin Ludwig of Dorchester and Mrs. Louise Frenzel and Mrs, Kenneth (Mary Lou) Fechhelm, both of Medford; 29 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
