O'Conner (O'Konski), Mary Ann (2 May 1918 - 24 October 1981)

OWEN -- Miss Mary Ann (O'Konski) O'Conner, 62, Owen, died Saturday at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley.

Services will be Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, with the Rev. Richard L. Fliss, pastor of officiating. Burial will be in St. Hedwig's Catholic Cemetery, Thorp. Visitation will be at Maurina Funeral Home.

The former Mary Ann O'Konski, who had her name changed to O'Conner, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Della) O'Konski May 2, 1918 at Stanley and attended Thorp High School.

She worked in Chicago for United Gypson Co. from 1941-1971, then returned to Owen to live with her mother.

A member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Miss O'Conner is survived by her mother; two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Amy) Stewart of Withee and Mrs. Jack (Ceil) Warden, West Covina, California; and three brothers, Ed O'Konski of Waukegan, Illinois, Mert O'Konski of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Donald O'Konski, Owen.

Her father died in 1963 and a sister, Vi Fraley, in 1969.

**Note: Mary Ann is buried with her uncle Edward O'Konski.
