COLBY -- With his three top players coming back, Colby High School girls basketball coach Paul Johnson sees "stability" in the upcoming season.

Guiding the team to 10-5 conference record last year, Johnson welcomes back unanimous first team Cloverbelt all-conference pick 5-10 center Cam Tischendorf, 5-8 forward Kim Frahm and 5-5 guard Renee Hendrickson.

Joining them will be seniors forwards Tammy Duvall, Laurie Hodkiewicz and Carol Stieber and junior guard Barb Bruesewitz.

Tischendor, was also a leading rebounder in the Cloverbelt as well as the team's scoring leader, with a 15-point average.

Lost through graduation are guards Linda Bartnick and Mary Jo Schaefer. Johnson described Schaefer as a "real team leader."
