Meidl, Mary L. (28 October 1895 - 10 February 1982)

Mrs. Mary L. Meidl, 86, a former Aniwa resident, died Wednesday morning in a Wausau nursing home.

Mrs. Meidl was employed for 20 years at Vulcan Corporation in Antigo, prior to her retirement. She was a member of St, Boniface Christian Mothers.

The former Mary Kondzela was born October 28, 1895 in Granton (Clark County), daughter of Frank and Augusta Kondzela. On November 23 , 1914, in Aniwa, she married Charles Meidl. He died March 28, 1963.

Survivors include a son, Gary, Columbus, Ohio; a step-son, Clyde Meidl, green Bay; two daughters, Mrs. harry (Evelyn) Arndt, West Bend, and Mrs. Reinhold (Lucille) Hoffmann, Milwaukee; 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday at Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home Birnamwood, and St. Boniface Catholic Church, Aniwa. The Rev. Donald Laux will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
