Airman Mark J. Kiefer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray J. Kiefer, Route 1, Abbotsford,
has been assigned to Chanute Air Force Base, Illinois, after completing Air
Force Basic Training.
During six weeks of training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, the airman
studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special
training in human relations.
Kiefer now will receive specialized instruction in the vehicle maintenance
field.
