Finck, Phyllis M. (28 DEC 1945 – 9 OCT 2020)
Phyllis M. Finck, 74, Greenwood, passed away at her home on Friday, Oct. 9,
2020, with her family by her side. A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., on
Friday, Oct. 16, at Cuddie Funeral Home in Greenwood. There will be no services
held.
Phyllis Marie Schulz was born on Dec. 28, 1945, in Elgin, Ill., the only child
of Charles H. and Carolyn D. (nee Drafall) Schulz. She was raised and received
her education in Huntley, Ill., graduating from Huntley High School in 1964.
After high school, Phyllis went to work for Jewel Foods in Palatine, Ill. She
was united in marriage to Donald E. Finck on April 24, 1965, in Huntley, Ill.
They moved to Neillsville, where they resided until moving to Owen, and finally
settled in Greenwood in 1990. Phyllis worked at Rollohome in Marshfield, and
later at Mr. B’s Restaurant in Abbotsford, but most of her time was dedicated to
being a stay-at-home mother and raising their five children. She had many
interests, but especially loved hunting, fishing, parades, camping, the Warrens
Cranberry Festival, tractor pulls, and collecting tractors with her husband.
Phyllis was also a member of the Edgar Gas & Steam Engine Club.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Don, of Greenwood; three sons: Bob
(Laurie Carteron) of Neillsville, Eugene (Shelly) of Athens, and Floyd (Tracey)
of Edgar; two daughters: Dawn (Jerry) Kelley of Helvetia, W.V., and Jan (Jeremy
Kurzinski) Finck of Stevens Point; two step-sons: Donnie (Holly) of Black River
Falls, and Bill (Deb) of Black River Falls; 18 grandchildren; nine
great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and two grandchildren: Gracie and
John Kelley.

Phyllis M. Finck, age 74, of Greenwood, passed away at her home on Friday,

Phyllis Marie Schulz was born on December 28, 1945 in Elgin, IL, the only child
