Covert, Stephanie Anne (17 February 1995 – 25 September 2020)

Stephanie A. Covert, age 25, of Milladore/Vesper, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Stephanie Anne Way-Mockridge was born on February 17, 1995 in Watertown. She was raised on a farm in Milladore and attended school in Auburndale. Her family moved to Neillsville where she graduated from Neillsville High School in 2013. Stephanie was united in marriage to Kane A. Covert on February 4, 2013 in Neillsville. She grew up and worked on her family farm but also held other various jobs as well.

She had many interests, she had an incredible love for music and art. The only thing she loved more was her children. She was so special and anyone that got the chance to have even one conversation with her was forever changed because of it. She had a smile that lit up a room and a voice of an angel.

Stephanie will be dearly missed by her husband, Kane, and their two sons: Silas A. and Kaliq A. Covert; her mother: Rebecca Leu of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters: Elizabeth Portman of Glendale, AZ and Erica Portman of Surprise, AZ; her grandmother: Lori Mockridge of Surprise, AZ; other relatives and friends.
