Trybula, Darlene Mae (12 June 1954 – 28 October 2020)

Darlene M. Trybula, age 66, of Willard, passed away at her daughter's home in Birchwood, on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

Darlene Mae Trybula was born on June 12, 1954 in Marshfield, to Henry G. and Julia M. (Scharenbrock) Trybula. She was raised on the family farm in Willard, and received her education in Greenwood, graduating from Greenwood High School in 1972. Darlene was united in marriage to Randal S. Opelt on April 27, 1974 at Holy Family Catholic Church, in Willard. She farmed with her husband in Neillsville, on the Opelt family farm, until suffering a barn fire. They moved to Willard and helped her mother on the family farm, where they took over operations. After her divorce, Darlene began working at Craft's Trading Center, in Marshfield, in the parts department until its closing. She then worked at Kwik Trip in Loyal and Greenwood until The Outpost, in Marshfield, was opened for business, in the parts department until early 2020.

She was a former member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Darlene had many interests, but especially loved playing cards with her family, casino trips with her sisters and friend, and sitting around the fire telling stories.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter: Juliet Opelt (fiancé Brent Evitch) of Birchwood; her 2 sons: Andrew Opelt (fiancé Jessi Riley) of Eau Claire, and Eric (Jennifer) Opelt of Ladysmith; 7 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters; her 3 sisters: Audrey Gregorich of Willard, Beverly Dann of Willard, and Elaine (Nick) Rueth of Loyal; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Kathleen Trybula, in infancy.

At Darlene's request, no services will be held. A visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home, in Greenwood, on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
