Hetke, Susan Marie (7 June 1956 - ? June 1970)

Susan Marie Hetke, age 14, resident of Route 1, Stanley, drowned on Lake Wissota last evening.

She was born in Chippewa Falls June 7, 1956, the daughter of Donald and Rose Marie (Kornel) Hetke. She lived in the Chippewa County area, then moved to Milwaukee where the family lived for seven years. Then they came back to this area where they lived in the Ladysmith and Bloomer area then they moved to the Town of Edson in March of 1969. She has lived there since. She was a student of the 8th grade class of the Stanley-Boyd School system.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hetke, Route 1, Stanley, two brothers, Robert and Donald Scott, five sisters, Sherry, Patricia, Tami, Donna and Bonny, all at home, her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hetke, of Route 2, Cornell, and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marie Kornel of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Stanley. Friends may call at the Plombon Funeral home, Stanley, from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday noon and then at the church until time of service.
