Meihak, Albert F. "Ollie" (5 Aug 1900 - 24 January 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Services for Albert F. Ollie Meihak, 82, of 498 Clay St., Neillsville, who died Sunday at his home. will be Thursday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff will officiate and burial will be made in the Neillsville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John, Gary, Daniel, David and Michael Meihak and Timothy and Thomas Peetgrass.

Visitation will be at the Gesche Funeral Home Neillsville. The body will lie in state at the church for an hour before services.

He was born August 5, 1900 in the town of Weston, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William (Ernestine Dux) Meihak. He received his education at the Hillside School, Town of Pine Valley.

He and Ella Meier were married September 23, 1930, at Neillsville, where they lived for 10 years before moving to a farm in the Town of Pine Valley. He was employed for 30 years as a rural milk hauler. He retired from farming in 1962 and moved back to the city, where he was employed at various jobs.

He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Christine) Peetgrass of Littleton, Colorado, Monna Meihak of Madison and Linka Meihak of Bloomington, Minnesota; Three sons, Donald, Neillsville Dale of Wabasha, Minnesota and Albert of Fort Atkinson; a brother, Werner (Verna) Meihsk of Marshfield 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and six sisters.
