Roberson, Ann Buttons (5 February 1907 – 13 October 1976)

Mrs. Ann Buttons Roberson, 69, died October 13 at her home in the Hometown Village apartments in Loyal.

Mrs. Roberson, the former Ann Podrovitz, was born February 5, 1907, in Austria She was married to Leon Roberson May 4, 1940, in Iowa.

She received her education in Milwaukee, where she moved with her parents in 1917. They later lived in Tioga. After her marriage she lived in Milwaukee until her husband’s death in 1964. She has been residing in the apartments in Loyal since November 1975.

She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Plautz of Willard and Mrs. Marie Farrell of Milwaukee.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. The Rev. John Heagle, pastor, officiated.

Pallbearers were, George Plautz, Michael Podrovitz, Daniel Smrecek and Daniel G. Smrecek.

Miss Betty Bayuk, organist accompanied the children’s choir.
