PHOTOGRAPHERS
E. Fleming, who referred to himself as an artist, had a shop on West Main Street and in the Spencer Tribune of June 30, 1882 advertised: “Old pictures copied and enlarged – pictures.”

Mr. C. H. Locke later acquired the shop and in December of 1884 announced his opening, calling it the Photograph Gallery. He advertised that he was ready to make photos and tin types.

Ray Ingham had his shop in an upper room I his parent’s home, the Ed Ingham residence on West Main Street. Man of the post card street scenes of Spencer are his work.
