--------- Means, Alice J. (Marriage - 16 JUN 1926)

On Wednesday, June 16, 1926, at high noon was solemnized the marriage of Alice Jane Means and Ernest Schauer, Rev. Keiper, pastor of the Lutheran Church of Dorchester, Clark County, Wis., performing the ceremony.

The young couple was attended by Miss Alice Andersen, intimate friend of the bride, who acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. Eric Schauer, brother of the groom, as best man.

The bride was beautifully attired in a rose colored cina sick. She wore a beautifully embroidered bridal veil and a wreath of orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of pink roses.

The groom wore a blue suit and the groomsman wore a gray suit.

In the evening a reception was held at their rooms over the Banner Cheese Factory, which was attended by near relatives and friends.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Means. Mrs. Means has been the principal of the Frechtown School for the past three years. The groom is a son of Mrs. F. Schauer.

Mr. and Mrs. Schauer will be at home to their friends at the home of the groom at the Banner Cheese Factory.
