Granton High School (1935/1936 – Combined Reunion 1961)
The Classes of 1935 and 1936 had a very enjoyable reunion Saturday night, July

and wives. The 1935 class had a total of 17, while the 1936 class numbered 22.
After touring the high school building and its new additions, the group gathered
in the new school cafeteria for an 8 o’clock dinner.
Joe Davis (’35) was master of ceremonies. He called on a member of each class to
read the names of its members. Arlene Lindow Hasz read letters from classmates
and teachers who were unable to attend. Tribute was paid to the memory of
deceased class members, Mrs. Georgia (Grosnick) Stelloh and Mrs. Lucille
(Schlinsog) Burge.
Time was spent in reminiscing, and many of the experiences of the past 25 and 26
years were told.
Prizes were given as follows: traveling the farthest, Mrs. Allen (Evelyn Nonhoff)
Moore, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Wilbert (Alvina Foemmel) Korth from FT. Atkinson;
