Goodbrand, Barbara Ann (Marriage - 20 August 1976)

A home in Pine View Terrace, Greenwood, awaited Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Carl Miller upon their return from a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells. Mrs. Miller is the former Miss Barbara Ann Goodbrand, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Goodbrand of Rt. 1 Greenwood. He husband is the son of Elmer Miller, Rt. 3 Greenwood.

The Millers were married August 20 in a 7 p.m. ceremony performed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Greenwood, by the Rev. D.E. Wenger. A reception followed at the Greenwood American Legion Hall.

Presented in marriage by her brother, Robert Goodbrand, the bride appeared in an empire style gown of organza and Chantilly lace fashioned with a batteau neckline, long sleeves and a detachable train. Her head was covered by a cathedral length, lace-edged mantilla. Red roses, daisies and baby’s breath formed her bouquet.

The groom was attended by Kenneth Dyre, Jr., Greenwood, as bestman and by Randy Hendrickson, Greenwood, and John Gardner, Withee, as groomsmen. Robert Goodbrand and Mike Vetterkind served as ushers.
