Peterson, Lynn Marie (Marriage – 28 August 1976)

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Miss Lynn Marie Peterson and Lawrence Everett Dux, were married Saturday, August 28, in a 3 p.m. ceremony performed at Good Shepherd Church, Menomonee Falls, by the Rev. Francis Eschweiler. Escorting their children were Mr. and Mrs. Dorance Peterson of Menomonee Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Dux of Rt. 2 Neillsville.

Special music was provided by a guitar group..

The bride’s gown featured a Queen Anne neckline with reembroidered Alencon lace on chiffon Ette, bishop sleeves and a Watteau train. Her Camelot headpiece with Venice lace held an elbow-length veil. Yellow roses and baby’s breath formed her bouquet.

Honor attendant Judith E. Acheson, appeared in a sleeveless gown of yellow polyester knit topped by a long sleeved, midriff tied jacket. She carried a basket of yellow and white daisies.

Kerry Karnitz, Wausau, served as bestman. Guests were seated by Jerry Long and Leroy Dux.

A reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Menomonee Falls.

The bride is a senior in medical microbiology at the university and will graduate in December of this year. She is employed part time in the department of entomology. Her husband will graduate in December with a master’s degree in industrial engineering. He has part time employment in that department.

The newlyweds are living at 6832 Schroeder Rd, Madison.
