Schoen, Patricia Ann (Marriage – 9 October 1976)

Patricia Ann Schoen became the bride of Joseph Anthony Bertz in a 1 p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, October 9, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville by the Rev. Joseph Henseler. Later, the couple was honored at a reception at the American Legion Hall.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schoen, Rt. 2 Neillsville. Mr. and Mrs. David Bertz, also of Rt. 2 are the groom’s parents.

The bride’s princess style gown, fashioned with a long train, was framed by a harmonizing lace veil. She carried a bouquet of camellias accented with fall-hued daisies.

Fall-colored daisies also formed the bouquets of Mrs. Linda Miller, matron-of-honor, and Mary Taliaferro and Linda Stalsberg, bridesmaids. Their gowns sere created in shades of tan, orange, soft yellow and brown.

Attending the groom were David Michalak as bestman and Jerry Gross and Paul Erpenbach as groomsmen. Guests were seated by Peter Bertz and Gary Miller.

The newlyweds will live in Green Bay.
