Anger, Mr. and Mrs. John (Golden – 16 November 1976)
Mr. and mrs. John Anger of Merrillan will observed their 50th wedding
anniversary Sunday. An open house, hosted by their children and spouses, will be
held from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Merrillan village hall.
Fern Ransom and John Anger were married November 16, 1926, in Minneapolis by the
Rev. Lucius H. Bigbee. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Iliff.
Anger was employed by the Chicago and North Western Railroad Telephone and
Telegraph Line department for more than 50 years.
The couple has one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Darlene) Wechsler of Stevens Point; two
sons, Larry of Merrillan and Kenneth of Eau Claire, 13 grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
