Juntunen, Mae (4 June 1912 - 21 April 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Services will be Monday at Gesche Funeral Home for Mrs. Everett J. (Mae) Juntunen, 70, of 214 E. Fourth St. who died Thursday at Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Gary L. Clark of United Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in Town of Levis Cemetery.

Mrs. Juntunen was born June 4, 1912 in Chicago to Mr. and Mrs. Peter (Anna Cajthaml) Honzik and received her education there. She worked for Western Electric in Chicago several years, then came to Clark County with her parents in 1930.

She and James Kalas were married in 1932. They farmed in the Town of Washburn for a few years, left the area for a time, then returned several years ago. Mr. Juntunen died March 29, 1979. She was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Holub, Alma Center, and Mrs. Charles (Libbie) Matousek, Neillsville.

Besides her husbands, she was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Joseph and Peter, and a step-brother, Jerry.

Note: Burial with first husband James Kalas.
