Colby High seniors Chase Oehmichen and Lexi Underwood were selected as this
year’s Colby representatives for Cloverbelt Conference scholar-athletes during
this year’s virtual convention on Wednesday, April 7. In order to be eligible
for this accomplishment, student-athletes must hold a minimum cumulative grade
point average of 3.0, and achieve a level of academic and athletic excellence.
Both Oehmichen and Underwood have lettered in multiple sports through their four
years at Colby High. Oehmichen has been an all-conference recipient in
cross-country and track and field, and been on Colby’s varsity basketball team.
Underwood has lettered in basketball, volleyball and track and field. Oehmichen
will attend UW - Stevens Point in the fall with a directed focus towards working
with the DNR. Underwood will pursue a four year degree at UW - La Crosse, and
will major in exercise and sport science.
