Blum, Johanna (99th - 1977)
Almost at the century mark, Johanna Blum, Memorial Home’s oldest resident,
observed her 99th birthday there last week. An area resident for her entire
lifetime, Miss Blum has lived at the home for approximately the past two and
one-half-years. Since suffering a stoke recently, her movements have been
considerably curtailed, but her mind remains as sharp as ever.
