Rohland, Darcy Lynel (22 May 1976)

A honeymoon trip to the Western States followed the May 22, 1976 wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ciszewski. Upon returned they will reside at Route 1, Withee.

The former Darcy Lynel Rohland, Thorp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Rohland, Withee, was given in marriage by her father to Robert Ciszewski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ciszewski, Withee, during an 8 p.m. ceremony at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee. The Rev. Douglas R. Groenewold performed the candlelight rite, for which music was provided by Miss Louis Luedke, soloist, and Mrs. Bert Ebert, organist.

The bride was attired in a white floor length whipped cream colored gown, accented with appliques and a train. She carried a cascading bouquet of bridal pink roses, white stephanotis and baby’s breath.

Floor length mint green knit dresses featuring small capes were born by her aides.

Miss Diane Koltis, Thorp, was maid of honor, and Miss Toby Benn, Stanley, Miss Jane Volk, Medford, and Mrs. Sheri Brennan, West Allis, were bridesmaids. They carried baskets with spring flowers.

Flower girl was Tammy Luedke, and ring bearer, Darrin Luedke.

Attending the groom were Bill Wagener, Eau Claire, best man, and Al Grabowski, Chetek, Al Marek, Wausau, and Tom Lewandowski, Thorp, groomsmen.

Jeff Rohland and Jim Arlitski seated guests for the ceremony, which was followed by a reception and dance at Dorchester Memorial Hall.

The new Mrs. Ciszewski graduated in 1971 from Owen-Withee High School, and also attended one year at the University of Wisconsin Center, Marshfield-Wood County. She works as a clerk-typist at ITT Life Insurance in Thorp. Mr. Ciszewski, a 1972 graduate of Thorp High School,, is employed as a carpenter.
