Crothers, Melani (FFA - 1977)
Melani Crothers, state FFA secretary from Neillsville, attended a ten-state
regional officer training workshop held in Kansas City, Mo.
Wisconsin state offices met June 27, in Madison where they made plans and
practiced for the workshop. From there they traveled to Kansas City.
Officers and advisors from the central region attended the workshop. The
officers worked with three national FFA officers in becoming familiar with their
duties for the upcoming year, including speech making, knowledge of FFA, and
etiquette.
The conference, lasting from June 28 to 30, was considered a helpful and
informative experience for the 11 Wisconsin officers, who arrived back in
Madison on July 1.
