Saturday night, June 12, 1976, was a night filled with memories for 16 members
of the 1951 Withee High School graduating class as they held their first
reunion.
The evening began with a delicious prime rib dinner at the Meadowview Country
Club. The program, which followed, consisted of “Trivia 1951”, prepared by Bill
Ammentorp; class members introducing their spouse and giving a short resume, and
a moment of silence in memory of Philip Gereau, a classmate that was killed in
service.
The remainder of the evening was spent listening to songs of the early “50’s”
and renewing old friendships.
