Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Soren (Golden – 30 August 1977)

Soren and Emma Fees Larsen of 319 Grand Avenue, Neillsville, were honored Sunday afternoon, August 23, at an open house in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary. The open house was given by their daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Don Schultz. of Rt.1 Greenwood, and Lois and Irv Marg, at the Marg home on Rt. 2 Neillsville.

The Larsens were married August 30, 1927, in Cottonwood, S.D., by Rev. Carswell. Besides their daughters and sons-in-law, their immediate family includes seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. All were present for the occasion, together with many friends and relatives from near and far.

Close relatives in attendance and friends and relatives on hand from out of town were Mrs. Anna Dooley of Chicago, Il.; Mr./Mrs. Victor Larsen, Mountain Home, Ar.; Mr./Mrs. Carl (Mollie) Elmer, Mr./Mrs. Dean Strand, St. Paul, Mn.; Mr./Mrs. Rueben (Marie) Aasen, Juneau; Mr./Mrs. Henry (Inger) Farris, Sacramento, Ca.; Mr./Mrs. Walter Larsen and Mrs. Gerelda Larsen, Neillsville; Mr./Mrs. Keith Breidung and family, Madison; Mr./Mrs. Elmer Christianson, Chippewa Falls; Mr./Mrs. Burton Fees, Kadoka, S.D.; Mr./Mrs. Clifford Fees and daughter, Cottonwood, S.D.; Charles Fees, Dick and Jean Walker and girls, Humbird; Mr./Mrs. Robert Blair and Mr./Mrs. Bud Hanrahan, Milleville, S.D. and Miss Karalee Schultz, Madison.
