The Owen High School classes of 1930 and 1931 joined in a reunion to celebrate the 46th and 45th anniversaries of their high school graduation on Saturday, July 17, 1976.

At 4 o’clock the group gathered in the Owen-Withee cafeteria for coffee and conversation. Photos and snapshots helped bring everyone up-to-date on what had happened over the years.

Dinner was served at the Meadowview Country Club and a short program followed. A. C. (Claude) Hoeper was Master of Ceremonies.

Twelve of the eighteen members of the class of 1930 were present with their guests. They were, from Owen: Mr. and Mrs. Royal Bacon, Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Christine Baker) Clark, Edyth (Bower) Niemi, Mr. and Mrs. Arne Laakso, Mrs. Eugene (Virginia Richardson) Sutter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack (Elton) Fritz, Mr. Harold Parker and Donna Schluter. From out of town, those attending were: Mrs. Laura (Haavisto) Hasek, La Mesa, California, Dr. Elmer C. Larsen, Pittsburg, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Emery Peissig, Curtiss, Wis., Mrs. Julian (Ione Harneyager) Andersen, Elizabethtown, Tenn., and Onni Niemi of Stetsonville, Wis.

Representing the class of 1931, there guests were, from Owen: Mr. and Mrs. Jon Potocnik (Margrete Christensen), Clyde Haemer, Eugene Sutter and Mr. and Mrs. Ed (Marian Griffith) Wendt. From out of town those present were: Mr. and Mrs. E. C. (Claude) Hoeper, Oak Lawn, Ill., Alta (Hull) Schilling, Thorp, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dennis (Anita McVey), Platteville, Wis., David McVey, Withee, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. L. S.
