Schraufnagel, Annette Marie (10 September 1977)

Miss Annette Marie Schraufnagel became the bride of Daniel Ray Tesmer in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, September 10, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville by the Rev. Joseph Henseler. Later, the couple greeted guests at a reception at the Neillsville Country club. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schraufnagel of Neillsville presented their daughter in marriage to the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Tesmer of Rt. 1 Merrillan.

For her wedding day, the bride chose a long sleeved, A-line gown of Marcaine fashioned with a Queen Anne neckline and bodice trimmed with silk Venise lace. Her fingertip veil was attached to s profile headpiece rimmed with matching lace. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses, white mums and stephanotis with baby’s breath.

Attending the couple were Miss Patti Schraufnagel and Paul Tesmer. Miss Schraufnagel’s long-sleeved gown of apricot polyester featured a full, bias-cut skirt, empire waistline and Queen Anne neckline trimmed with Venice lace. All-tone flowers formed her bouquet.

Guests were seated by Don Aden, Steve Tesmer and Dennis Hardwick.

Vocalists were Sue Schmidt and Mrs. Glenn Short. Mrs. Short also played the organ and guitar.

The bride was honored at a prenuptial shower given by Mrs. Ertz Steiger and Mrs. Gorden Vine at the Neillsville Country Club, and at a coin shower given by relatives.

A 1973 graduate of Neillsville High School, the new Mrs. Tesmer attended the UW-Eau Claire for four years and will continue her education at the UW-Stevens Point this year. Her husband graduated from Neillsville High School in 1972 and from the UW-Eau Claire in 1976. He is employed as an assistant manager for Radio Shack. The newlyweds will live at 2716 Fourth Ave., No. 8, Stevens Point after their return from a week’s trip to Las Vegas.
