Miller, Janet (22 October 1977)

Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Greenwood, was the setting for the October 22 wedding vows of Janet Miller, Rt. 1 Owen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren L. Miller, Owen and Clifford Schjoneman, Renton, Wa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Antone Schjoneman, Unity. The Rev. David Wenger was the officiating minister for the 2:00 p.m. ceremony. The wedding reception took place at the Loyal American Legion Hall, Loyal. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Antone Schjoneman.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a white organza dress accented with Venice Lace and a veiled bridal headpiece, she carried orange tea roses, baby’s breath and English Ivy as her floral bouquet.

Lorna Miller, Aurora, Il., was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marilyn Miller, Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Ranae Bray and Mrs. Kay Koenitzer both of La Crosse. Their gowns were organza in autumn orange with sheer capes, they carried nosegays of baby’s breath and fall flowers and baby’s breath in their hair.

The groom was attended by Charles Kreuger, Stevens Point, as bestman, Scott Brummond, Buffalo Grove, Il., Carl Haugh, Ramsey, Mi., and Bruce Miller, La Crosse, as groomsmen. Ushering duties were performed by Brian Miller, Platteville, and Mile Olson, Marshfield.

Soloist for the wedding was Mrs. Bonnie, Weyer, Spencer, and Organist was Mrs. Aileen Tauchen, Ladysmith.

The bride graduated from the Owen-Withee High School, UW-La Crosse, and Western Wisconsin Technical Institute as a registered nurse. The groom was a 1969 graduate of Colby High School and a 1973 graduate of Michigan Technological University. He is employed as a staff engineer with an aircraft company in Seattle, Wa. After a wedding trip to the Oregon coast, their home will be in Kenton, Wa.
