Wojtkiewicz, Louis Theodore (14 April 1917 - 8 November 1977)

Funeral services were held in Wausau November 8, for Louis Theodore Wojtkiewicz, 60, longtime Thorp area Holstein breeder who was well-known in Clark County agricultural circles. Wojtkiewicz died November 5 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield. He was president of the Polish Roman Catholic Union and was a member of Columbus Council 4634 of Thorp.

Services were held from St. Mathews Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Hunt in charge. Burial was made in Restlawn Cemetery.

Wojtkiewicz was born April 14, 1917, in Thorp, the son of Ignatius and Elizabeth (Malinowski) Wojtkiewicz. He was married September 6, 1942, in Chicago to the former Ann Bonczkowski. They farmed four miles northeast of Thorp for many years.

Surviving besides his wife are, a son, Theodore of Thorp, a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ann Ghidorzi of Wausau, four brothers Joseph and Edward of Chicago, Michael of Miami, Fl., and Frank of Boyington, Fl., and by five sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Ferenc of Harvey, Il., Mrs. Lillian Balcer of Washington, Mrs. Lucille Wiernasz of Wausau, and Miss Harriet White of Chicago, Il., and two grandchildren.
