Dehnert, Gertrude (25 August 1899 – 11 December 1977)

Gertrude L. Dehnert, 75 passed away suddenly while visiting her sister and family in Beach, North Dakota, on Sunday. Services for Mrs. Dehnert, who died in a Glendive, Mt., hospital, were to be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Visitations were slated for Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. Ruby Yndogliato will officiate at the services with burial in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Born to Jerry Randall and Sarah (nee Grosbeck) on August 25, 1899, in Clark County, Mrs. Dehnert also received her education in the county. After her marriage to Henry Dehnert on October 11, 1919, she farmed with her husband in the Town of Pine Valley until 1957 when they moved to Neillsville. Upon the death of her husband in 1976, she moved to rural Humbird.

Mrs. Dehnert was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and three brothers. Surviving are two children, Duane Dehnert, Richfield, Mn., and Mrs. Lyle (Nelva) Prindle, Humbird; one sister, Mrs. Roy (Ethel) Snow, Beach, N.D.; one brother, Theodore Randall, Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dehnert was a member of the Neillsville Christian Science Church, The Fairview Homemakers Club, the Beaux Arts Club and the Clark County Historical Society.

Dehnert, Gertrude L. (25 August 1899 – 11 December 1977)

Numerous friends and relatives attended the funeral services for Gertrude L. Dehnert, 78, who died December 11 and had funeral services on December 15 from Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pallbearers at the funeral included Ralph Prindle, Roger Dahnert, Jeff Scholze, Robert Wiese and Jeff Schoess. Reader at the service was Ruby Yndogliato. Mae Peters sang “Beautiful Isle” and “Just As I Am”, accompanied by Mrs. Vania Volkert.

Those attending from out of town were Elda Fischer, Golva, N.D.; Lola Fong, Dickinson, N.D.; Mr./Mrs. Duane Dahnert, Richfield, Mn.; Mr./Mrs. Jerry Scholze, Eau Claire; Mr./Mrs. Kenneth Bell, Wausau; Mrs. Evelyn Randall, Mr./Mrs. Ted Randall and Tom Randall, and Mr./Mrs. Donald Krueger and Mrs. Gail Schmidt, all of Fond du Lac; Mr./Mrs. August Beyer, Wisconsin Rapids; Mrs. Bess Jensen, Cadott; Mr./Mrs. Allan Voight, Northfield, Mn.; Mr./Mrs. Keith Dahnert, Ellen Dahnert and Jeff Schoess, of Minneapolis, Mn.
