Zittleman, Mrs. Dewey (1900? – 18 February 1978)

Word was received this week by friends and relatives that Mrs. Dewey Zittleman, 78, passed away on Saturday at a Colfax Nursing Home. She was the former Ruby Evans and was educated in Neillsville. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth and Donald. Her husband, Dewey; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Evans; one sister, Myrtle (Mrs. Louis Hantke); and two brothers, Arthur and Leonard, all preceded her in death.

Zittleman, Ruby (25 September 1900 – 9 February 1978)

A former resident of Neillsville, Mrs. Ruby Zittleman, 77 passed away, February 9, at a Colfax nursing home. She was born to George and Ida Hidebrandt Evans on September 25, 1900, at Fisk, and she married Arthur Dewey Zittleman in 1930 in Minnesota. They lived in Neillsville and Spring Valley before moving to Colfax in 1948.

Survivors include two sons, Donald of Taylor, Michigan, and Kenneth of Marshfield; a brother Leonard Evans of Racine; and five grandchildren.

Services were held February 21 from the Colfax United Methodist Church with the Rev. James E. Miller officiating, and burial was made in the Colfax Evergreen Cemetery, with the Goodrich Funeral Home, Colfax, in charge of arrangements.
