The new barn on the Kenneth Gumz farm in rural Dorchester was completed last
week. The basement was being used for some time, but the raising crew was there
on Tuesday and completed the work on the barn on Saturday. Gumz lost his barn in
the tornado on September 28, 1971, and has just about completed the new one,
when a wind storm in October too that one down again.
